JenkinsCrew 110 Gallon Oceanic Mixed Reef Build

OK looks like the mixing station is all good to go now. I ran the RODI line into the garage and is kept in place by some corner panduit from home depot, will be painting to match the wall soon.View attachment 1033All the pipes are painted and secured and RODI line connected, so far no leaks. I have unions to easily remove each trashcan for cleaning as well as unions to remove the pump. I have a banjo quick connect for pumping water to remote areas, just need to get the hose now. Will also add some barb fittings on my 2 downspouts for filling jugs/buckets of RODI/Saltwater if needed.View attachment 1034

Well, doing the big move to the new house this weekend. I already moved all the pieces for this tank up there but still have the 2 small active tanks to move. Hopefully in a few weeks I will be settled in and can continue this 100+ gallon build and get some water in it!

Its like 48" x 8" and 2" thick. Has an app to control with my phone too.

Yeah I like it! Same brand as yours Ricky! ;-)

Yep once I get it all setup and cycling I'll have to get on the meter list!

Started doing work on the stand today. Sump area was lined with a few layers of plastic. I went ahead and took all that out and found there is some saltwater damage, to be expected though.

So sanded down everything real well and taped it off. Then started with the white plasti-dip spray.

Turned pretty good

Next onto the topside where the display tank sits. Fixed a few spots and taped it all off.

Then sprayed it down with some black plasti-dip. Turned out well also

Then wanted to freshen up the outside so I lightly sanded the outside and doors to get rid of water spots and added 2 coats of scratch remover stain and 2 coats of tung oil. Shined up pretty nice!

That Plasti-dip spray is a pretty good idea. I've also seen one that used the spray-on truck bed liner. I wish I had thought of either of those when I was still building my stand. [smilie=smile.gif]
