blide - 150g of Inwall Entertainment

I like the unit, but IMO it was a little expensive for just some actinics. It does create an awesome look with LED only and definety adds more color with the other lights on during the day. My tank (150g) isn't very wide so one unit worked from me, but I would recommend more than one LED strip for wider tanks that's why I say it's expensive for someone to just add actinics. IMO if you're going to spend 500+ on a couple of actinic strips you might as well change your lighting over to full LED and get the full benefit.

Oh and I used 48' because 10 inches of my tank is behind the wall and not viewable from the front which creates a low light area. I use that area for a low light corals and it also gives the fish a place to hide, but the LED does splill into that area.

I got an email this week from http://www.reefthreads.com and they claimed my tank as "Noteworthy" and did a small podcast review. Really nice of them and if you haven't listened to their podcast you should check it out.

Sorry it's been a while since I posted any pic's of the tank (I'll try to post some new ones this weekend). Although, I haven't really done anything new to the tank lately because I've been working on a new gun project. Here's a pic for you gun nuts.[smilie=nerd.gif]

Oh and don't worry I already told the wife if the time comes and she needs to drop the hammer on an intruder that she should aim away from the tank! [smilie=angry.gif]

Don't you guys have a baby on the way? New mothers tend to be a little overprotective so you may want to post some warnings outside your door. Would be bad for some poor Jehovah's Witness to come knock on your door and be greeted with the business end of that thing. . . [smilie=surprised.gif] [attachment=0]bad mama.jpg[/attachment]
