I like this shallow tank because it allows me to take pictures like these with just an iPhone:

Thanks for looking, I actually do have LEDs, I just turn down the blue channel to get decent pics. They "brown out" a bit, but it's more true to life than a crazy blue picture.

The blue one is a Miami Hurricane, the pink one is a Jayda's Pink Watermelon.
Thanks for asking!

I just got my Bubble Magus Curve 5 from FedEx. Assembly was a breeze, although its missing a single rubber foot of the four it features on the bottom plate. I contacted Seaside Aquatics through email and I'm hoping they'll just send me a foot. If not, at least their parts site sells them. I can't wait for this little gem to break in.

Seaside aquatics just emailed me a shipment confirmation for a replacement foot, super quick customer service.

I feel like my build log has gone stagnant since there are no changes in livestock or equipment. I snapped some iPhone pics today:

I traded some of my corals for a nice little SPS pack a couple of months ago. They are encrusting over the glue, and growing more weekly.

My Vortech mp10 had gotten progressively louder since I bought it used so I ordered a jebao wp25 from reefbreeders. I can't wait to set it up. I'll post once it comes in.
On another note, I am building a durso standpipe for my overflow and getting rid of the ball valve beneath per Marc's suggestion.

I managed to build my Durso standpipe without taking one single picture...it works great though and I'm thrilled with it.
I noticed that the Jebao wp25 was gone from Reefbreeder's site, which made me curious. I called Logan at Reefbreeder's and he told me that Tunze issued a cease and desist for any sale of the Jebao wp line. He assured me that my order would be filled though. I certainly hope so, as I really have a hard time spending the money on a Vortech mp10. I've only had one, and I bought it used.
As before with my LED, Logan's customer service has been top notch.

Do you have a full tank shot. I know you have to have some Wrasses in that tank and I've got a 30 that I've been wanting to put a wrasse in but have not found the right one so I want to see what you have in a 30.

I was curious as to how long it would take for someone to mention wrasses in this small tank! Lol.
I would never suggest keeping any wrasse (short of a Tanaka's Pygmy) in this small of a tank. I am guilty though, you caught me. I have two fish in this tank. One is a firefish, the other is my prized Macropharyngodon Negrosensis. She actually takes food from my hand. She's pretty delicate, so I like to keep a close eye on her. Luckily, mine eats like a pig.
Again, I love wrasses and have done countless hours reading everything and anything I can find on them. I would never suggest this as appropriate or normal, but for this single example, she works for me.
I've actually tried to hide her in any of this build thread's photos by excluding full tank shots to avoid someone calling me out for it. I'll post one soon.

Weak photo, but you can see her in this pic:

LOL you are the resident wrasse guy so I had to ask. I would love to get one for my son's 30 gallon cube but I want some type of flasher and I know that would not be good in that small of a tank. Your wrasse is beautiful!
