Although from early childhood we have been indoctrinated into a heliocentric mindset, with all the secondary, or second hand "knowledge" jammed down our throats, so to speak, that promotes this, and only this theory as fact, the preponderance of primary, or first hand knowledge that we each? have accumulated overwhelmingly tells us that it ain't so. Even though we have been programmed from a small child to criticize, and demean anyone with a differing theory, that doesn't make it so. The earth is flat, or better said, a fixed plane. Having only come in contact with this idea in the last 6 months, this is my present understanding. I have looked at many things regarding this subject, and am left with the conclusion that our reality is much different than what we have been led to believe. We have been trained to dismiss many things that we can see with our own eyes, and sense with our own senses because "science" tells us to believe them instead. And who are we to question the super enlightened ones? We have been brought to a place where we ask them what-is-what even when we have something right in front of us to observe for ourselves. We don't trust ourselves any more, but defer to "science". So it's easy to feed us any odd what-not from their hyper speculative bag of tricks. Easy! They have the grants, the schools, nasa, the money, the media. No one makes a move that they aren't in charge of it. If you promote looking at a differing world view, even in passing, you're out. The Copernican theory is over arching, and Einstein's relativity is unquestioned. By the way, both of these men knew, and stated that these were theories that they were unable to prove. And evolution is their 'bible'. All of this has been "fact" for our lifetimes, and no alternate theories will be heard from, unless, we determine to question with open minds the possibilities that our own senses might reveal.Since the club is anxious to get hits on our site, I post this thinking that it might very well get some. It is a subject that can be a lot of fun. It can be difficult as well, since it is easier to deceive someone than it is to make them believe that they have been deceived. Whom among us wants to find out that much of what we "know" is a lie, or at the very best, unproven theory adopted as fact? We pass on secondary information all the time as if it were primary knowledge to us, but it isn't. We will argue to the death, for example, that the earth is a sphere spinning tilted on it's axis at about 1000 mph, while orbiting the sun at 67,000 mph, with our sun, and us travelling towards the constellation Hercules at 43,000 mph, while moving upwards, at 90 degrees to the plane of the Milky Way, at 4.34 miles per second or 15,624 MPH, and our solar system orbiting the galaxy at 446,000 mph. This a combined speed of over 574,000 mph, and we don't sense any movement of any kind. And even with all of this fantastic, undetected movement, Polaris, the north star, has always been directly up from the north pole, with all the stars rotating around it counter clockwise.? This is only one example of where we are in our mindsets. I am submitting that if we can be taught to defend this kind of thing, maybe even violently defend it, it being based strictly on second hand information, because we have no way to verify any of this, we can be trained to do, and think anything. And I submit that we have. Please keep the comments civil, assuming there are some comments added here, traffic to this site being what it is. Prove me wrong, or prove me right, but remember that we all love each other here. Resorting to name calling, which I have seen around this subject, only proves the name caller to be somewhat tenuous in his/her position, to say the least, and tends to make him/her look like they know the other guy is right anyway.? <br style="color: #000000" />Happy New Year on this flat earth![[ ]]
