Getting an anemone to move.

Hello,
I have a Sherman Rose anemone that is doing very well in my tank. Unfortunately, the dumb clownfish I have refuse to host it, but that's another issue. The anemone has decided to move away from where he was at and has not planted himself in the middle of where I have a number of acropora frags. He has stung my birdsnest colony. Is there a way to get him to move without just tearing him lose from the rock. I know that can be stressful to the anemone and I'd hate to lose it.

Aim a powerhead at it, just keep an eye on it so it doesn't get sucked up into a pump or wander into your overflow

I would place a rock near by so it can go on it and then you can move it where it pleases you. Just keep it away from the rest of the rocks once you move it to prevent it from moving again. Regarding the clown fish, the anemone will eventually host them. What I did with mine was to place it near the clownfish hangout.
