On a reef-ready tank with two returns (3/4"), rather than using loc-line split into two returns, can you simply screw in a penductor on each 3/4 return instead? Sorry if this sounds dumb.....

I have a full bucket of Kent and a new bucket of Tropic Marin pro reef The 120g has the Kent mix. Is there any risk of doing water changes with the newer tropic Marin pro reef; or just do water changes as usual with the new salt? Thank you, David Koga57
