[I'm sure you guys like to try and figure out what is in your tank growing on live rock.
Anyway I picked this piece of live rock with shrooms up about 2 weeks ago. The reason I liked the rock so much was actually because of all the weird stuff growing on it. It has probally 20+ small feather dusters, about 7-8 green hairy type mushrooms, alot of what appear to be small seperant or brittle stars, neon green and neon red sponge and this weird thing. If anyone knows what it is let me know. This is the best photo I could get using my 3.2MP Digicam.
The color is pretty close to what it looks like other than it being a little darker. It looks almost like liquid metal...but not as shiny. Its basically gray and white and is on the rock like a sponge would be.
