What hurt my kole tang

Caught a kole who was bothering my blue tang. Caught with a clear bag trap. Was trying to get rid of it.Put it in my sump and after pulling him out noticed that he has fin rot and damaged mouth.?In my sump I have one big hermit 2 inch shell, small hermits, pencil urchin, bristle worms galore.?Any idea what could have caused the damage to the kole?? The fins look damaged and mouth has white flesh kind of showing.
 
Sorry to hear about your tang. ?This happened to one of my tangs out of nowhere as well. ?I say that, but there was a tang battle for dominance going on. ?It was a bacterial infection and it took his life after a couple of days.
 
Yep. Healing well. Feeding it good amount of garlic dipped algae sheets and some frozen shrimp.I am sure he will pull thru.Thank you for asking.
