Is Strontium & Molybdenum something needed to be dosing in a reef or is this just a product the LFS push? I dose Ca, Alk, Mg, I and trace elements in my mixed reef tank.
I thnk it's important before you start dosing something to know what your goal is for dosing that. If your corals are doing well then dosing may not be needed. I would say you do not need to dose either of those.
Ca, Alk, mg are the top three. After that if doing water changes you are probably fine.
SS95003: I've had some feedback from some coral farms and they just worry only about Ca, Alk and Mg.
Just because a manufacturer makes a product doesn't mean it's necessarily right for my aquarium. That's why I'm reaching out and asking to see what others knowledge is on this. Manufacturer only cares about one thing, making money.
