Friday Setup - March 14 (noon-4pm estimate)
Sat & Sun Event - March 15-16 (morning & afternoon shifts)

Yes, RAP is returning to Texas, just two weeks after club's Frag Swap! It is going to be a blow-out March!

We are excited to again be asked by Reef-A-Palooza to provide volunteers. This event will be held in the same location as prior RAP TX events (refer thread above). If you would like to volunteer, then please provide your preferences of time by replying below.

These are the volunteers we have so far (I know I am missing people because I didn't start this "official" list until now - sorry):
  • @Fish Think Pink (Lisa) - Friday, Saturday all day & Sunday all day
  • @winky8888 (Ron) - Sunday all day
  • @hnurge (Hans & Cheryl) - Saturday all day
  • @kd35 - Saturday
  • @arishali - Saturday preferred over Sunday volunteering
  • @Drex (Drex) - Friday afternoon, Saturday all day, Sunday all day
  • @Cedar Hill (Sonya) - Friday afternoon, Saturday all day, Sunday all day

It should be another good event. We do not yet know if volunteers get anything for volunteering nor confirmation on table for club, but there is an AMAZING prize already forthcoming for the club's March 1st Frag Swap Giveaway Raffle!! All the wonderful volunteers is what makes/made the RAP table possible - we appreciate your support of the club (plus it will be fun this weekend!)

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers! We all helped Reef-A-Palooza be a wonderful success! Thank you Sonya (Fri, Sat & Sun), Karen (Fri & Sat), Drex (Sat & Sun) Nick (Sat), & Ron (Sun). Volunteers helped with 500 RAP goodie bag creations, booth setup & take down, donations coordinations, door wrist band checks, registration check-in and applying wrist bands. This was also our first year the hobby club was invited to participate in the parade - Karen (Saturday Dory), Sonya (shrimp rider), Lisa (shark). If anyone has video or photos of the 3:30 parade on either Saturday or Sunday then please get them to Lisa (@Fish Think Pink)!

If you were a DIAMOND level RAP attendee, these are all the goodies packed into your bag by hobby club DFWMAS & a volunteer (Joe) who flew in from the Long Island Reef Association - yes, that is a bottle of LIVE PODS donated by club sponsor Dinkins included in the giveaways:
