Question on air silencer on a skimmer

I have a lot of salt residue around my refugium. Can I put a hose on the outlet of the air silencer and run the tube into a bottle to catch the excess salty air discharge.

I'm confused on what you want to do. The air discharge from silencer should be inlet to skimmer pump. The air outlet is is collection cup/ bubbles poping.

I am talking about the air discharge nipple at the top of the silencer canister. It is discharging salty air from the top of the air silencer and causing a salty residue all over the equipment by the refugium.

Those shouldn't be expelling anything as they are pulling in air for the micro bubbles. Salt creep/buildup can be building up around the silencer cup just from it constantly pulling in the humid, salty air in your stand. You can attach some flexible tubing to the nipples on the silencer and route them out the back of your stand to help pull in cleaner air. I've even heard of people routing these lines outside to constantly draw in outdoor air and help raise pH. Just remember doing this could potentially drastically raise or lower your water temp depending on outdoor temps.
