Nori

Where's a good place for a regular supply of Nori? And is that a nickname for a longer version or what would I be looking for?

Thanks,

asian markets

it's actually called nori, used to wrap sushi in and other stuff
there are 2 kinds , roasted and dried
can'r remember which the fish like better, i think dried...

The Kroger down the street from us has a sushi bar just inside the door. You can find a pretty good size package right there next to them in this Kroger.

i buy my nori at wal-mart. for 3 or 4 bucks you get a pretty good amount. It is roasted but i hear that dried is better for them. Serk knows of a place in garland i think that has dried in reallyl large packages.

I just bought a bag from Central Market the other day. It's roasted...not dried. Fish seem to like it as well as the stuff from the LFS.

Sometimes I'll put a few drops of vitamins on it before I put it in the tank for good measure.

Thanks all! I'll check it out. I've been using the stuff from the LFS but I understand the "Nori" is better so I'll have to get some.
