New 120 on the way

Guess I never mentioned that I switched out my starboard for sand, return pump for an ehiem and added two reef ceramic pieces after MACNA. I kept some live rock, but most of it I sold. I really like the looks of the reef ceramics, if I could only get rid of the diatoms. But all in due time.

Here are some before and after pictures.

Update time:

I am getting used to the sand, and really digging the Reef Ceramics. They are starting to get some corraline and the diatoms are starting to fade. I think that they will be really sweet once the corraline grows in. All of my SPS corals are showing great growth and color. The params are as stable as they have ever been in this tank. I'm now running the ca reactor 10 hrs. on / 14 hrs. off. I think that I bought too big of a reactor, oh well, it will work fine on my next tank.

I bought two new SPS pieces, a small colony, which I believe to be an a. gomezi and a small ORA piece, which I believe to be the marshall island acro.

On to the pictures:

Just as a side note, I'm starting tonight with the non-zeo supplements, CV and AAHC. I'll use tonights pics as reference points. I'll see what happens in a month.

I just caught up on this thread. You've done a great job so far. Those diatoms must have been soooo frustrating to look at each day. I would have dropped in 1000 snails.

Lots of great corals.

Well, I did add about 50 cerith snails, which seemed to help. Plus, my powder brown helped as well. The cycle went away pretty quickly. I just wish the bubble algae was that easy.
