Duncan - no new polyps

OK I'm stumped. I have had a duncan single polyp for about a year now. It was tiny (about 1/2" across when out) and is now about 2" across when out but is still one single lonely polyp.

How do new polyps grow on these -do they sprout on the side or does the head split? Anything I can do to encourage new polyps?

ya if you target feed them they will grow aggressively i have had my colony for almost a year, two heads became 27 heads in just under 8 months.
Target feeding made a huge difference.

I fed mine every couple of days and it went from 1 head to around 8 in 2 months. Then it just quit. It has been eight or nine months now and only 1 new head. Not sure what caused it to stop growing.

i don't target find fine, started with 1 head, and i have over some where between 12-15 heads now...I agree with Matt's questions, are your perm. good with good lighting?
