Copepod Culturing

I've ordered 32 ounces of copepods to seed my refugium.  The package is also coming with two bottles of phytoplankton.  Was thinking about using 1/2 the batch for my sump and trying to culture copepods in a separate container with the other 1/2 of the batch.  I don't want to get into anything major, just a simple set up to feed my tank with.  Does anyone have a simple set up that they can share pics/tips?  Should I also culture the phytoplankton (to feed the copepods)?

You can definitely culture both! Just have to be prepared for the daily/weekly tasks :) I am doing my own phyto right now, here is my setup:http://www.dfwmas.org/community/tank-builds-larger-than-100-gal/jenkinscrew-100-gallon-oceanic-mixed-reef-build/paged/21/#post-315983 Here is a video of a guy who does both:https://youtu.be/ye-yyYzmVzw Maybe some others will share their setups and experiences.

Thanks! I saw that video when I was googling. There was a very helpful article at brineshrimpdirect. where they bred copepods in a 5 gallon bucket and feed phyto whenever the water starts to clear. I think I'm gonna start with just culturing the pods and maybe start up the phyto later after I've used up what's included in the kit.
