I had some flow issues with this unit after a few weeks running. So I decided to make the flow restricters a little bit larger.

I took a small knife and cut out the putter pins. This and I change my carbon/GFO mix every month. It seems to make my tank a lot happier.

Good idea, I have the same reactor for my carbon ( run GFO in a Phosban 150 ) and have always questioned the flow through it. I may have to steal your idea, thanks for sharing!
 
Just completed the modification to mine with my x-acto knife. Pleased with the results. Thanks again for the idea.
