I believe that is a Rhizo Coral not a dendro.

Agreed. It says Non-Photo(synthetic) while Dendrophyllias like light as well as food.

I am not sure about how much they grow or how fast they grow. I have seen them in person and to be honest not all that great. Plus target feeding is just a PIA.

I had an all white one for a year it never grew another head and I target fed it too.

I ended up selling it as I got tired of feeding it

target feeding doest bother me. just guarding my sun coral while it eats is a pain.

Going to be the same thing with this...it just gets old. To help protect you can cut the top of a 2 litter off and put it over the coral as it eats, just an idea.

im probably going to set up a non-photo tank. my wife likes the sun corals, so im stuck with them.

Just so you know unless the laws have changed recently these corals are imported illegally. Owning them is not an issue put it was imported as something besides a Rhizo.
