S suboc Jan 12, 2012 #1 Im wanting to add some more sand to my tank about 100 to 150lbs, What is the best way to do this and will it effect any of the animals? Its only about 3 inches deep as of now and im wanting to get it over 5 inches.

S ss95003 Membership Expired Jan 13, 2012 #6 2" pvc pipe with a funnel on the end seems to work best for me. Just aim the pipe where you want the sand the sand via the funnel.
