WOW!! Green Brittle Star Leg Alive after 1 Week!!

So, my green brittle star lost a leg last week, I noticed after I saw the leg moving, but the star fish was on the opposite side of the tank...

Will this turn into a new starfish?'

Its been a week, and this leg is still moving and eagerly accepted food tonight... although, i don't know what it plans to do with it...

I fed it a piece of krill...

all pics were taken within a 30 second period, so you have an idea of how much it moves after a week of being separated from the starfish,

That's cool, but, creepy too! LOL! Feeding that thing a shrimp is like sewing the mouth closed on a starving man and sitting him down at a buffet.... :!: :twisted:
 
wow, that is wild, I wonder if it will grow a new head and more legs, Defenatly want to see some updates as time goes on
