Who knows about running OZONE ???

ive read up on it as i thought about adding it to my tank but havnt wanted to quite yet. most people ive seen run it into their skimmer, but then you need carbon on the cap of the skimmer for the fumes because it is harmful to us. it can be overdosed quite easily and is ONLY recommended to be used with a good controller based on your ORP value in the tank.
 
I've run ozone a couple of years with no ill-effects other than sparkling, clear water. There are some precautions you need to take but it is as simple as running ozonated water through carbon and if you run ozone into skimmer, carbon over collection cup. I run ozone and water through an ozone reactor then through carbon. I run a RedSea Deluxe Ozonizer that has a built in controller. Great reference articles here:
