where to buy plastic valve

ok so i have a trash can with a 1 1/2 inch hole drilled into it and want to put a valves on it. cant find one at hd or lowes i know someone has one cause guy i got this from had a valve on it. i was thinking of getting a bulk head but dont know if it would work cause can isn't 100% flat. i know they sell ball valves but dont they make one like water hose valve but in plastic or pvc

you want a uniseal. I use them on my water change trash cans with no issues.

ya i was trying to avoid using a ball valve with a pvc pipe it sticks out further. might just have to do it this way. i thought i had seen a water hose type valve one somewhere before

scott, you can use a bulkhead. even though the can is not flat it will allow you to put it on and compress the can down. you can then use a gate valve if you dont want to use the ballvalve. i have done it before but gate valves will need to be ordered as i have not seen them locally

if you go that route you can get good gate valves at Elliots. Not sure if they have 1.5" gate valves thought that itself is going to stick out pretty far.
