You can use aquamend by Home Depot, its over in the adhesive area, where the wood glue and stuff is. You can also use the aquarium variety but its a bit more expensive. I have used both and the only draw back to the aquamend is that it really sends the skimmer into hissy fits and can cloud the water a bit for little while if you use it in larger quantities. All of them can be used underwater.
