Hi everyone,
I currently have 2 1300 gph koralia like pumps in my 90 gallon and it is way to much current. It also uses suction cups instead of magnets so they come off every so often.
I wanted to get 2 new ones, I figured koralias would be good. I cant decide between the 750s or the 1050s. I do not have any sps in my tank, only softies and a few frogspawn and hammer coral. I would really like to get the opinion of a few others before I buy the set. Thanks for any info

A koralia 3 is a 850 gph. Here is a really short video of my tank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zMunyN9uM4&feature=youtube_gdata

I use two EVO 1400s on my tank. One on each end pointing towards the front and back and to bounce the flow off them. I also and running the 48" long 90 g. You can see in the picture that the one on the left side is up front and pointed towards the front pane of glass and the one in the right if further back and pointed up and towards the back pane of glass. Hope this helps.

I used to run a few of the Coralvue (AKA Sunsun) pumps in my tank. They move a lot of water. It I found that the flow was very laminar. I switched to Koralia 4 pumps and was a lot happier. Moved about the same amount of water, but the flow was much more turbulent. Didn't blow my corals around nearly as much. If you don't have high-flow type corals, you could go for three K-2s and probably be fine. I'd prefer K-3s, though.

I am using 2 1600 gph on my 90 gallon. The only issue i run into is fish getting blown a little when they swim in front of it.
