Can Some one tell me an easy way to tell the difference between a welk and a nassarius snail?
I got my cleaning crew Friday I notice that what were supposed to nass. snails mad a bee line for the blue leg hermits that I got with them rolled them and latched onto the shell opening to opening and sat there for a long time. I would separate them and they they back in a matter of minutes. By the next morning all but 2 of the 11 blue leg hermits were dead. There are 5 of the nass type snails that hang around on the rocks, glass and occasionally on the sand. I have never seen those snails bury themselves like the other nass do. If I can figure out how to I will post a photo.

wish I had more of the Nassarius types to stir sand. Just like the article said mine are always on rocks and glass. I do have 3 nassarius as they are bigger and always bury themselves in the sand.
