Urchin keeps sucking up my frag rocks

I have a white urchin (forget the name) and he has a serious problem with latching on to things that aren't very well attached in my tank. Right now he has probably 4-5 old snail shells attached to him. Lately he has had a thing for grabbing my frag rocks and dragging them around, usually upside down, and causing the corals to deteriorate until I notice and pull them off of him.

Besides gluing or tying down all of my frag rocks, is there anything I can do to keep him from doing this? I like having him around since he eats coraline algae.

Nope... its the nature of the beast. You put velcro on a ball and roll it across the floor, you'll get lint on it. Same thing with the spines of an urchin. About all you can do is pick him clean and keep an eye on him. Just be glad hes not knocking rocks over.

Haha, ok thanks. I think I will considering trading him for a long spiny. I have had a long spiny before and he wasn't a problem as you mentioned.
