SPS ID?

We got these when they were green and brown. now they're very colorful... wondering if anybody knows what they are.

the sps in the last pic looks like a statue of Yoda.

ya it kinda looks like a variation of a Marshall island acro most commonly recognized by its smooth skin, and bright green polyps that glow under actinics, the GARF bonsai is just a purple variation.
Or a very close relative.

The last image looks like Acropora secale before it has branched out.

Nice score! At this point it is impossible to guess at the ID's, although with coloration, you can take various stabs. You need more growth patterns and branching until accurate guessing can occur.

Fusiform coralites/combriose pattern etc

The last one looks like a Marshall Island Acropora Valida, though as others have pointed out it would be impossible to say for sure with some bleach and a microscope.

thanks guys! i guess it's hard to say.. not like zoas easy to name huh?

well they're coloring up very nicely every day. the yoda statue one looks completely purple now, like a bonsai but big fat branches... :)
