So close together?

Seems everything I read says keep your corals away from each other. "They will put out tenticles and fight for space..etc...." yada yada... However, all the awesome tanks have tons of various SPS,LPS and softies mixed in with each other and in very close proximity. How do you prevent a war from starting? TYIA

IME, you'll always have some warfare going on in your tank. You can only limit it. Many corals get along ok (well, they just fight slower)--it just a relative few that are espcially leathal.

i see people have frogspawn and zoas right next to each other but nothing looks like it is dieing or gettig stung. i would like to know this too

Try looking at night, when the corals retract. That's when you'll see the most damage. When things are fluffy, they hide the warfare - if they aren't in the middle of a chemical war that is.
