snail ID

Picked up a piece of coral had these guys all over the rock it was mounted on, not sure it they were safe to put in my tank so I plucked all of them off before the dip. Are these dwarf cerith snails?

If they are actually ceriths, they are safe. If they are Pyrams, they eat mollusks.

Ok thanks marc, for sending me in the right direction. Heres what i got. this snail lacks the heterostrophic shell coiling on the tip that pyrams have. Also pyrams lack the operculum and this snail does have that so I can pretty much rule out Pyramidellids. ( according to http://www.reefland.com/articles/rho/identify-this-rissoid-and-pyramidellid-snails ). See picture.

What size are these snails? They do look like ceriths to me, which are one of the kinds I put in my tanks.
