Sea hare ink

Tonight I was looking around my tank and sump when I couldn't find my sea hare. I finally found it in my sump where I was using normal egg crate for my frag rack. It managed to get stuck trying to pass through the egg crate with just his head and about an inch of body. I tried to get him to back up that didn't work so I ended up cutting him out. I put him in the display to keep an eye on him when he started ink the heck out of the place. I took a few videos but I wasn't expecting it so they are not even a tenth of the ink that bellowed out. So far fish and corals are fine, sps still extended, Xenia still pulsing. I have about 200 gallons total volume and did a 15% water change. From what I've read it doesn't sound serious when they ink but I'll let ya'll know in the morning.

You can run some fresh carbon. Mine has not inked in the tank (He tried to commit suicide by inking in the bag) but I hear that helps.

Here's the video. My Octopus inked my 30G once but it was less ink than the short video of you sea hare. I did a 10% water change but didn't have any problems.

Thanks for fixing the video. I tried linking it from photobucket, but was using my phone and gave up after the second attempt.
Yeah I was really surprised at the volume of ink. This was about 5 minutes later, so when it first did it I'm not joking when I say there was a 12"" diameter ink ball you couldn't see through even with all my pumps on! I recalculated my total volume and think I closer to 230-240 and there was enough ink to make the entire tank a purpley iced tea color. So I ended up with about a 10% water change and everything looks fine. During the whole event nothing seem fazed.
