Questions on using Red Sea test kit

The last several months I am really questioning what my test kit is indicating. I have two Red Sea Calcium kits and both indicate I am running at 320 if I go by when the color FIRST changes from red to blue. If I wait awhile the color goes to purple and I would have to add drops but I don't know if that is what I am supposed to do. It seems that if my water was really 320 all my corals, zoanthids, SPS would be dead. Both kits are over 12 months old.

What should I do?
 
I always go until it stops changing color in the more blue direction. This seems to be a common issue with the Red Sea kits, and fortunately they have a Youtube video explaining how to read it. You can also test by making a reference solution and testing that.
