What would cause a protein skimmer to not bubble? The pump is working but no foam is being produced. Hoping for some suggestions to try. Thanks!

Check to make sure your venturi/air intake isnt clogged with salt or other debris.
What skimmer do you have?
Happens with mine sometimes. I will pull mine out of the water enough until bubbles start going and then lower it back down. I usually have to remove the collection cup for that task.
Thank you both! I cleaned the venturi intake and it seems to have helped some. I have a Diablo skimmer if that helps. Will try taking it out of the water a bit.
