I have noticed that several people of this board have there tank parameters from the controllers listed on their signature lines. I think that is a great idea. When you go out of town, all you have to do is log onto this site and see that everything is OK. How do you do this?
 
Well, I don't think the lite version has a web page. That's what I use to grab stats from those with an AC Jr or AC II.
 
OK, I am finally going to try to get this signature line thing going. I bought the Aqua Notes software and just hooked the controller up to the computer. But I noticed that as soon as I attached the cable to the controller, the PH number dropped 1.00 and the temperature dropped. Any ideas why this would happen?
 
Did you get a serial isolator? Others have noticed problems leaving their controllers hooked up to a serial port without one.
 
No, I dont have one. I looked at Marine Deopt and they sell for $47. Is this something I could get locally for a lot cheaper, or do I have to buy the Neptune one?
