[Aren't clams sorta like corals, in that they are not supposed to touch each other?

Even if not, they might get better circulation if there is room around each one.]
 
[They like a little nitrate, they need good lighting, good water quality, and a loving owner. They can touch as far as I know.]

[Yes they can touch with no problems.
Brandon, you might wanna try the KoralVitF food made by Daniel Knop, I dont have any measurable nitrate either but my clams are doing great and showing lots growth since I started feeding this stuff.

They are beauties!]
