everytime I try gluing mine they pull themselves off pretty easily and float around the tank.. I finally just stuck them between a rock and the glass and they finally secured themselves to that rock and started to expand.

If there is not any rock left on the base of the ric or shroom
to glue too, I hold them to a piece of rock with bridal veil and
a rubber band to hold the veil not the shroom. If there is rock
left on the base a good CA should not be a problem you are
gluing rock to rock not shroom to rock.

For the bridal veil you can use a piece of net
like a bag of fruit comes in from the grocery store.
