I guess it's time to start my new tank log.
It's made by Planet Aquarium.
I'm using a metal stand made by a friend of mine.
I'm had a friend skin the stand and build the hood. We used pine select for the build.

The box on the back is my bean overflow. I wanted my tank to be silent
this time around.

I like how the stand came out. My next build will be a 180g with metal stand too. I will probably skin myself but I really like the way yours turned out. never heard of a bean overflow though.

My wife did not like the spot I picked for the tank since it sat in front of the return vent. So the tank was moved to my office. That is one heavy tanks!

This is the start of building the hood.
I will be able to access from the top as well as from the front.
I put 3 heavyduty hinges on the top so it will stay up.

My friend Bill built the stand. I helped as much as I could.
 
Leds should be up and running on friday, as we made great progress today. Tank looks better in person.
