Multiple skimmers

I already know most people don't think multiple skimmers on a "moderately" sized system is a good idea but I'm going to consider it anyway for several reasons.

Actually finding a used skimmer that is big enough to do the job yet fit inside of the stand is going to be impossible.
I've seen multiple skimmers used on a very large public aquariums.

I'm thinking old school at this point. Something like this sitting behind the tank and out of sight. Really good contact time with something this size makes me feel it might be more shark friendly than other models.

Bio pellets are going to be required for this configuration so I'm thinking a smaller skimmer rated around 200 gallons dedicated to skimming the effluent.

Ideas? Thoughts?

You might also contact Ace on the maast forums as he builds those style skimmers.

YOu can look for an old Beckett Style skimmer those work good in those tall applications. Uchin is selling a perfect pressure rated pump to run a beckett style skimmer as well.

Anyone else out there using a secondary skimmer for their bio pellets?
Has someone found an integrated unit with both a reactor and skimmer?

Its 72" tall Matt. The tank and stand are taller then that without the canopy so I can put it behind the tank and nobody is going to see it. :)
