Mandarin jumps through tube

I had prepared these feeding tubes in one of my tanks, they're about 15 inches long, for feeders to drop food in. Walking by the tank I saw something inside one of the tubes. Jeez it was one of my mandarins, looked like the female. I thought I'd try to get a picture and stepped away also thinking how in the hell am I gonna get her out of there. Went back and she had moved closer to the top and in a split second jumped out and landed on the carpet. I grabbed her and tossed her back in the tank. I'm hoping she's okay. These tubes are 3/4" and that is definitely not something I would have ever thought... a fish swimming up the tube to sleep in. The tubes are out and the holes in the top are covered now.

Glad you noticed it and made the adjustments.

Well I just checked the tank with a flashlight and both Mandarins are out and about. She was up front and looked fine. Whew...what a scare.
