I hate to do it since he's probably my favorite fish in the tank, but I need to find a new home for my Melanurus Wrasse. LiveAquaria lists them as reef safe "with caution", and that's been my experience: With Caution. He hasn't ever bothered any corals but he does pick on very small invertebrates (the plus side to that is that he completely eliminated my Red Planaria flatworm problem). In a bigger tank this probably wouldn't be as much of an issue since the smaller inverts would have more room to hide, but for my 50g tank with limited rock work he's just not a good fit.I couldn't get a decent picture of him, so I stole this one from another site.
