I am trying to build my tank in an economical fashion (at least as far as this hobby allows). I am looking for a source for southdown sand or something similar I can use. I have checked around for crushed limestone but haven't had much luck. I'm looking for dry sand, can anyone tell me a good place to purchase it? Thanks.

I'll check into that. Would places like Home Depot or Lowes have it or just the supply stores?

Something like this?

Look for bags of pulverized limestone at masonry supply stores .

I have a 5 gal bucket of Fiji Pink Sand you can have. Would need to be thoroughly rinsed though.

I live a long way from Corinth but I work in Dallas. I don't think I can drive that far but if you are willing to meet somewhere I would love to take it.
