Iwans new tank

Here is Iwan's new tank. It looks pretty good.

The colors look a little hot from photoshop. The tank is only a few weeks old.

Yes, his tanks have looked gorgeous. I am also alittle skeptical about the coloring. The color of his corals have always had that "wow" or "pop" factor to me. It is like they are almost too good to be true.

I've never seen a tank that color, period. I'm finally getting off that bandwagon. It is one thing to see a brightly colored coral that is a macro shot, but the entire thing looks like something out of Dr Seuss to me now.

Even the pretty SPS we see from Dr Mac look like pastels at first because they are under natural sunlight, but once in our tanks they tend to darken up substantially.

I said, "pretty good" because I am not sure I buy that the colors of his tank are that vivid. The last picture looks overly PS'd to me. Not that having half that color wouldn't be bad.

Oh I agree with you 100%. For a 2 week old tank to look that good seems a little far fetched.

I am pretty sure the corals and live rock came from his previous tank. I know he was using the Zeovit method on his last tank. His last tank had colors like we see now.
