Is this bubble algae? The long tubular shapes are throwing me off.

Yes, that is bubble algae. Although very interestingly shaped.

Thanks. I guess it is more the clown variety. Although I doubt I will make any balloon animals out of it. ;-)

Good luck, if you see bubble algae there is more than you think. I've had to scrap my tank once for it, nothing eats it and it's very hardy and spreads like herpes

I got a crab he eats bubble algae I never see it again since he's been in tank
