How to maximize pod production?

Planning on setting up a new tank 90 or larger what are some ways to make it pod friendly
What are some ways to maximize the number of pods a tank has?

A large refugium, with varied macroalgae, maybe some 'pod pods in the tank (a piece of needlepoint plastic zip tied into a tube, filled with LR rubble..)

I've looked through a lot of my skimmate with a microscope, not many pods in it. Lots of bacteria, some dinoflagellates, diatoms..

Return pumps might chop up the occasional amphipod, but the rest are too small to be sushied.

ATSs & fuges do make great pod farms, and a tiered system with gravity feed would maximize pod production w/ minimal pod damage.
