How to control buble algae

I've been too busy at work to be able to control bubble algae in my tank. Just about every piece of LR has lots of them. I have 3 - 6 emeral crabs in the tank, but they don't seem to care for the algae.

Any other option?

The MHs are 2 10K 250W. They are less than a year old. pH is about 8.20, little swing. Alk is 9 - 11, Ca is about 400. No traces of Amonia, nitrite, nitrate.

Thanks,

Manual removal seems to be the "best" solution.

There are a few predators, but not many will handle larger polyps of the stuff.

Had a SailFin that ate it. But had another that wouldn't touch it.

Some say running the tank with a higher Alk level helps control bubble algae. We had some a few years ago and it just went away and we really did nothing except made sure that all the levels were correct.

I have had no luck with Emeralds, great luck with Tangs. My Dejardin, Sohal and Purple (before he ate zoanthids) polished it all out of the 140 system... my 90 still has a few pieces. but nothing like it was.

Thanks for the feed back. I'm hoping the Tangs will have some effect on this. All of my tangs (Yellow, Regal, and Powder) are in hypo to treat ick since Feb (yeah, I messed up the first hypo round).

For now, I'll just remove as many as I can during the monthly water change.

Thanks!
