I have 2 250w reeflux 12K's in the new Luminarc minis. How should I acclimate my tank to the new lighting? My previous set up was a 6 x 54w bulb T5 set up with individual reflectors. I don't want to burn my SPS at the top of the tank.
lower light cycle and barely increase it over time...if you can too move your corals to bottom of the tank...i moved my prized one too the bottom just in case...also eggcrate with screen door mesh material is good too...
So, my MH bulbs will be 12.5" off of the water. Is that a good distance for long term? Or, should I lower them a couple of inches after my corals acclimate?
