Green nepthia

Is this coral really extinct in the wild? There seems to be alot of argument about the topic. I just bought a small aqua cultured frag at the lfs. Any one here have some they can show off? Didn't seem to be common, its too bad its a super pretty coral.

Palau green nepthia is suppose to be rare. Plain green nepthia is pretty common

Yeah Palau green nepthia is like radioactive green. It even looks like it is glowing under regular daytime lights. You will know in price also Palau green nepthia has limited edition price tag on it.

It's pretty florescent even with the day bulbs. It's bright green, even the polyps are green. How much would it normally run for a cheap one? This frag is about 1.5-2 in tall with a few branches, it was $42.99. Ive never seen these for sale so I'm clueless as to their price.

I may be wrong, but I think it is actually a sinularia. I believe there was some changes made several years ago about the scientific names and it was moved into the sinularia family. Still a great looking piece and one of my all time favorites. I've got 2 huge pieces of it in my tank.

Here's mine. I bought a colony about two years ago and had to sell. Saved two pieces. This is the smaller one.

I bought from a guy shutting down a 300. It was about that size when I bought it. Was over a foot when I sold it early 2011.
