Frogspawn pieces floating?

[I noticed the other day a small piece of my frogspawn was sitting down on a piece of rock. Today, I just noticed another small piece of it drifting around. Is it normal for this to happen? Is something ripping pieces off, or is the frogspawn just shedding them for some reason (good or bad?)?

[It is likely the FS is upset or getting to much wave or water current. This is not a good thing.

They like low water movement.]
 
[Hmmm ... I was afraid of that. I'll see if I can find a spot with low enough current and hopefully that'll help.

[My frogspawn in near my long tentacle anenome. I know that when I am cleaning the glass my Cinnamon Clown will attack the magnet. Sometimes when doing this she will knock some pieces of the frogspawn off. Maybe you have some undersea battles going on.]
 
[Its normal. I see it all the time the pieces have never seeded to a new coral. Bits come off my hammers frogspawn and alvapora.]
