Hey everyone, On feed mode I have all my pumps set to turn off. It is on a 5 minute off cycle then pumps come back on. Once the pumps come back on(this includes my return pump) a lot of floating debris comes back with it(looks like old mysis etc) I am curious if this will cause my nitrate problem/green hair algae outbreak? Also where does this come from? the pumps run at all times except when feeding. White food leftovers are not seen except for 5 minutes following feeding then it is gone until the next time the feeding cycle is over. Any input you can give would be great. I bowfront 90g which has return and overflow from back right corner. this goes through my sump/fuge under tank then it is returned to tank. Any other info you need please let me know.
