[It seams nearly every one that runs HM's also has VHO atinics
the question is does anything in the tank need the atinics or is it just to give the water a blue tint. Because I have read that some of the 20K give of a blue tint and if I can save some cash wouldn't that be nice. Does any know or have tried it. Thanks]

[The actinics are added to give the blue spectrum to your corals, as well as for the aesthetics of the tanks appearance.

From other members in the club, such as Chris Jardine, they have found that only the 400w 20,000K bulbs look good, but the lower wattage ones don't last or do the tank justice.
