Has anyone/is anyone using the bulk mag/cal/alk from Dr foster smith. It is on sale and I was wondering how it compared to Bulf reef supply? Do you measure it the same, etc.....
 
I bought a bucket of the F&S calcium chloride, but have not used much of it. It gets real hot when mixed with water, so that means it is anhydrous. The BRS is not anhydrous, as I understand it. The anhydrous is more concentrated, so mixes up different than the BRS stuff, I have been told. I think you use 20% less.
