I've been trying to come up with ideas to catch my Melanarus Wrasse without taking all of my liverock out. He's too smart. Well I finally outsmarted him lol [smilie=clapping.gif]
This would only work if you have a more open aquascape. I got out some spare egg crate, measured it, and determined that it would best fit near my overflow. I moved some corals and rock out of the way keeping some in the "trapped" zone. I noticed he liked to hide underneath my birdsnest colony, so that was kept. I made sure to lure him in towards that side with some fish food. All of the fish had no idea what was going on when I put the eggcrate in the tank as compared to when I even put the net anywhere near my tank. So I took the birdsnest colony out and he practically gave up. Took less than 3 minutes to catch him!
